2021 Festival

The spark for Fishy Stories was the 2019 and 2021 presentations of the Fish Creek Children’s Literature Day and the formidable local presence in Fish Creek of renowned children’s author/Illustrators Alison Lester and Roland Harvey, and a host of other local writers and creative artists. Together they ignited the energy, cleverness, and commitment to create Fishy Stories in all its dimensions, where the young folk get to hang out with and hear... and talk with... and work with... and play with people who write, draw and perform wonderful books for children and families.
